Nine-Ball

Nine-ball is a cue sport played on a pocket billiards table with balls numbered one through nine, where players must strike the lowest-numbered ball on the table first, but can win by legally pocketing the nine-ball at any point in a rack. Its fast pace and reliance on shot-making over defensive strategy have made it one of the most popular formats in professional pool, including world championship tournaments. It rewards players who can plan multi-ball combinations and position shots efficiently.
