Mountainboarding

Mountainboarding, also known as dirtboarding, is an action sport in which riders stand on a board fitted with four large pneumatic tires and steer it down grassy hills, dirt trails, or mountainsides, much like snowboarding but on land. It grew out of skateboarding and snowboarding culture in the 1990s and appeals to riders looking for an off-season or off-snow alternative for carving, jumping, and freestyle tricks.
