Miniten

Miniten (short for 'mini tennis') is a simplified tennis variant popular in Japanese schools and recreation programs, played with a soft rubber ball instead of a felt-covered one, often on a smaller court or with simplified equipment. It is used to introduce children and beginners to tennis fundamentals like rallying and scoring in a lower-impact, easier-to-control format.
