Klootschieten

Klootschieten (Dutch for "ball throwing") is a traditional Dutch and northern German outdoor sport in which players throw a small, dense wooden or resin ball as far as possible along a public road or course, aiming for maximum distance in the fewest throws. It is historically popular in the Achterhoek and Twente regions of the Netherlands and parts of Germany, often played in teams during winter months.
