Hang Gliding

Hang gliding is an air sport in which a pilot flies a lightweight, unmotorized aircraft called a hang glider, launching from a hill or cliff and steering by shifting body weight within a harness suspended below the wing. Enthusiasts are drawn to the sense of free, bird-like flight and the ability to catch thermals and ridge lift for extended soaring flights over scenic terrain.
