Hanafuda

Hanafuda, meaning "flower cards," are a traditional Japanese playing card deck consisting of 48 cards divided into twelve suits representing months, each depicted with seasonal flowers and plants. They are used to play various matching and scoring games, most notably Koi-Koi and Hachi-Hachi, and remain popular in Japan, Korea (as hwatu), and Hawaii among card game enthusiasts.
