Gain-Ground

Gain-ground is a traditional outdoor chasing game, historically documented among English and American children, similar to prisoner's base, in which opposing teams try to advance into and capture each other's territory while avoiding being tagged. It was played as an active, strategy-based playground game requiring speed and teamwork rather than special equipment.
