Ground Golf
Ground golf (guraundo gorufu) is a simplified, low-cost golf-like sport invented in Tottori Prefecture, Japan, in 1982, played with a single mallet-style club to hit a large rubber ball into a ring-shaped 'hole' target. It requires no special course conditioning, making it especially popular among elderly players and community groups in Japan and Japanese diaspora communities.
