Four-Ball

Four-ball is a golf competition format in which two-player teams each play their own ball throughout the round, with the better (lower) score of the two partners counted as the team's score on each hole. It rewards aggressive play since a partner's strong score can cover for the other's mistake, and it is a common format in team events like the Ryder Cup.
