Four-Ball Golf

Four-ball golf is the same format known simply as "four-ball," in which two-person teams each play their own ball and take the lower of the two scores on every hole. It's widely used in amateur club competitions and professional team events because it keeps pace of play brisk while allowing partners to support each other strategically.
