Equestrian Vaulting

Equestrian vaulting is a discipline that combines gymnastics and dance performed on the back of a moving horse, typically cantering in a circle on a lunge line controlled by a handler. Vaulters perform individually, in pairs, or in teams, executing compulsory and freestyle moves such as flag poses, stands, and mounts/dismounts, often set to music. It's practiced competitively worldwide, including at world championships, and is valued as both an artistic sport and a confidence-building introduction to horses for young riders.
