Elephant Polo

Elephant polo is a variant of traditional polo in which players sit atop elephants, driven by a mahout, and use long-handled mallets to hit a ball toward a goal. It originated in Nepal in the early 1980s and is also played in countries like Thailand and Sri Lanka, often as a charity or tourism event. The sport draws spectators for its novelty and slower, more deliberate pace compared to horse polo.
