Yak Polo

Yak polo is a variant of polo played while mounted on yaks instead of horses, developed in yak-herding regions of the Himalayas such as Tibet and parts of Mongolia, partly as a novelty adaptation and tourist attraction. Riders use mallets to hit a ball toward goals, and the slower, sturdier yaks make for a distinctly different, often comedic pace compared to traditional horse polo.
