Dressage

Dressage is an equestrian sport in which a horse and rider perform a prescribed series of precise movements, including transitions, circles, and lateral steps, within an enclosed arena, judged on the horse's obedience, balance, and fluidity and the harmony between horse and rider. Often described as "horse ballet," it is an Olympic discipline and also forms the basis of training for many other equestrian pursuits.
