Cutting

An equestrian sport and skill in which a horse and rider work to separate ('cut') an individual cow from a herd and prevent it from rejoining the group, showcasing the horse's agility and cattle-sense. Rooted in ranch work, it is now a competitive event judged on the horse's technique, particularly popular in Western riding circles in the United States.
