Codeball

Codeball is an obscure indoor ball game invented in the early 20th century (patented around 1910 by Frank W. Cotton) that blended elements of soccer, basketball, and volleyball, played on a small court with players trying to bounce a ball into a hole in the floor or a bin at each end. It briefly gained a following as a novelty gymnasium sport in the United States but never achieved lasting popularity and is now largely forgotten outside of sports history references.
