Charreada

A charreada is a traditional Mexican rodeo-style competition rooted in the equestrian culture of the charros (Mexican horsemen and cattle ranch hands). It consists of multiple timed events such as roping, bronco and bull riding, and precision team horsemanship, performed in a circular arena called a lienzo charro and often accompanied by mariachi music and festive dress.
