Capture the Flag

Capture the flag is a traditional outdoor team game in which two teams each try to locate and seize the opposing team's flag from its territory and return it to their own base without being tagged and sent to a 'jail,' while also defending their own flag. It is commonly played by children, at camps, and in organized recreational or paintball/airsoft contexts, and rewards teamwork, strategy, and speed. Variations exist widely in rules regarding jail, tagging, and boundaries.
