Campdrafting

Campdrafting is an Australian equestrian sport in which a horse and rider work together to separate a single beast of cattle from a small herd, then guide it through a course of pegs and gates within a set time. It tests the horse's agility and "cow sense" as well as the rider's stockmanship, skills rooted in the practical mustering work of Australian cattle stations. It remains a popular competitive event at rural agricultural shows and dedicated campdraft meets.
