Calva

Calva is a traditional throwing game from northern Spain, particularly Cantabria and Castile-León, in which players toss a heavy metal disc or bar to knock down a target piece (often called the "morena" or "tanque") set atop a mound of clay. Teams or individuals score points based on how the target falls, similar in spirit to horseshoes or skittles. It remains a rural pastime and competitive league sport tied closely to regional identity and village fiestas.
