Pitchnut

Pitchnut is a backyard lawn game, related to horseshoes, in which players toss a rope or rubber ring toward a wooden peg driven into the ground, scoring points for ringing or leaning the ring against the peg. It dates to the early 20th century and was popular as an inexpensive, easy-to-set-up alternative to horseshoe pitching for casual outdoor play.
