Bank Pool

Bank pool is a cue sport variant of pocket billiards in which every ball must be pocketed off a bank shot—rebounding off at least one rail before dropping into a pocket—with direct shots not counting. It is played with a standard pool table and object balls, often numbered but not required to be pocketed in order, rewarding precise angle and speed control. The format is popular among serious pool players as a demanding test of banking skill distinct from games like eight-ball or nine-ball.
