Balance Beam

The balance beam is a women's artistic gymnastics apparatus, a narrow (about four-inch-wide) elevated beam on which gymnasts perform choreographed routines combining leaps, turns, acrobatic skills, and dance elements. It demands exceptional balance, precision, and composure, as any wobble or fall results in point deductions. It's one of the four events in Olympic women's gymnastics competition, alongside vault, uneven bars, and floor exercise.
