UV Mapping

3D, Animation and Game Development

UV mapping is a 3D modeling technique that projects a 2D texture image onto the surface of a 3D model by assigning 2D coordinates (U and V) to each vertex of the model's mesh. 3D artists and game developers use it in software like Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max to ensure textures wrap correctly around characters, objects, and environments without distortion.
