Tree Maps

Data Science, Analytics and AI/ML

Tree maps are a data visualization technique that displays hierarchical data as a set of nested rectangles, where the size and color of each rectangle represent quantitative values within categories and subcategories. They are commonly used in business intelligence dashboards, financial reporting, and data analysis to show proportions within a whole, such as market share or budget allocation across departments. Analysts and data visualization specialists use tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js to build them.
