Heat Maps

Data Science, Analytics and AI/ML

Heat maps are data visualizations that use color gradients to represent the magnitude of values across a two-dimensional space, making patterns, correlations, and outliers easy to spot at a glance. They are widely used in web analytics (to show where users click or scroll on a page), in data science for correlation matrices, and in fields like geography, biology, and finance to visualize density or intensity.
