Radiology

Healthcare and Medical

Radiology is the medical specialty that uses imaging technologies such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine to diagnose and sometimes treat diseases. Radiologists are physicians who interpret these images to help other doctors identify conditions ranging from fractures to tumors, and some specialize in interventional radiology, performing minimally invasive image-guided procedures.
