Learning Styles
Education and Training
Learning Styles refers to a popular framework (e.g., visual, auditory, reading/writing, kinesthetic, or the VARK model) suggesting individuals learn best through particular modes of instruction. While widely referenced by educators and trainers in designing lessons, the scientific validity of matching instruction to a fixed personal learning style has been strongly challenged by cognitive science research.
