Java Web Services

Web Development

Java Web Services encompasses technologies and APIs, such as JAX-WS (SOAP-based) and JAX-RS (RESTful), that allow Java applications to communicate over networks using standard protocols like HTTP and XML/JSON. Developers use these to build and consume APIs that enable interoperability between distributed systems, often in enterprise and microservices architectures. Frameworks like Spring Boot have made building RESTful Java web services especially common in modern development.
