Manufacturing and Industrial

An Engineering Change Order (ECO) is a formal document used to propose, review, and authorize a modification to a product's design, drawings, or specifications after initial release. Used heavily in manufacturing and product development, it tracks the reason for the change, its impact on cost and schedule, and required approvals before implementation.
