Cyber Threat Hunting

Cybersecurity

Cyber threat hunting is the proactive practice of searching through networks and systems to detect and isolate advanced threats that evade existing automated security tools. Threat hunters, typically experienced security analysts, use hypothesis-driven investigation, behavioral analytics, and knowledge of attacker tactics (often mapped to frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK) to find hidden intrusions before they cause damage. This contrasts with reactive approaches that only respond to alerts.
