Hawaiian Tropic is an American brand of suntan lotion and sun care products founded by Ron Rice in 1969 in Daytona Beach, Florida. The brand was acquired by Playtex Products in 2007, which was later absorbed into Energizer Holdings, and it is now owned by Edgewell Personal Care alongside sister brand Banana Boat.
