Mental Health Therapy

Mental Health Therapy professionals, including licensed counselors, clinical social workers, and psychologists, conduct clinical assessments and diagnose behavioral health conditions before developing individualized treatment plans, often applying Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities. They provide crisis intervention when needed and increasingly deliver care through telehealth platforms alongside in-person sessions. The role requires a graduate degree and state licensure, and practitioners work in private practice, community mental health centers, hospitals, and schools.
