An executive vice president holds one of the most senior roles in a company's leadership structure, typically overseeing a major division or function and reporting directly to the CEO or president. This role centers on strategic planning and executive leadership, translating company-wide goals into divisional priorities while owning P&L management for the business unit. EVPs also spend considerable time on stakeholder management and change management, guiding the organization through reorganizations, market shifts, or major initiatives.
