Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in software engineering, systems integration, application architecture, or enterprise solution delivery
- 5+ years as Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or technical lead for complex implementations
- Experience delivering insurance or reinsurance software projects
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles and the development lifecycle
- Ability to translate functional and nonfunctional requirements into scalable designs
- Experience designing enterprise integrations using APIs, web services, messaging, or file-based interfaces
- Relational database and data modeling experience
- Experience supporting data migration and legacy system modernization
- Understanding of application security including authentication, authorization, and encryption
- Experience with testing strategies, release management, and deployment planning
- Proven ability to lead technical teams in distributed, client-facing environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within project timelines and budgets
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with DXC SICS configuration, development, or implementation
- Experience with other reinsurance or insurance administration platforms
- Knowledge of treaty and facultative reinsurance processes
- Experience integrating reinsurance systems with policy administration, claims, billing, and finance platforms
- Cloud architecture experience with Azure, AWS, or hybrid deployments
- Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architecture, or enterprise service platforms
- DevOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery experience
- Performance engineering and capacity planning background
- Consulting experience with insurance or reinsurance clients
- Cloud, enterprise architecture, security, database, or integration certifications
- Insurance industry designations such as ARe or CPCU
