Required
- Proven experience as a Workday Payroll Consultant or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of Workday payroll software including configuration, workflows, and business rules
- Strong understanding of UK payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency with Workday configuration tools such as pay policies, pay codes, and earnings/deductions setup
- Experience implementing and supporting Workday payroll solutions across the full project lifecycle
- Ability to analyze complex payroll requirements and design appropriate solutions
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
- Ability to meet client travel requirements and manage team and client interactions
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Fluency in English
Nice to have
- Knowledge of other Workday modules such as HR and benefits
- Familiarity with integration between Workday payroll and external systems such as time and attendance
- Strong payroll background and experience with UK Payroll modules of Workday platform as a consultant or client role
- Up to date Workday UK Payroll certifications
