Required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Ability to obtain UK security clearance
- Proficiency in C++, Lua, or similar programming languages
- Familiarity with physics-based modelling and simulation systems engineering
- Knowledge of version control systems
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with DevOps, automation and CI/CD concepts
- Understanding of testing frameworks and unit testing practices
Nice to have
- Experience as a Software Simulation Engineer or similar role
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle and standards such as ISO9001
- Understanding of distributed interoperability simulation protocols like DIS and HLA
- Experience with COTS simulation and training environment development and deployment
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles
