Required
- 5+ years managing and providing technical leadership to engineering teams
- Proven track record of hiring, coaching, or developing engineering managers or team leads
- Deep technical expertise across backend, frontend, data, and third-party integrations
- Strong familiarity building distributed services using Python and/or Go
- Experience taking holistic ownership of complex transactional systems in billing, financial accounting, membership eligibility, or customer enrollment domains
- Track record building, mentoring, and scaling diverse, inclusive, high-performing engineering teams
- Ability to motivate and instill strong sense of ownership in team
- Ability to thrive in cross-functional environment and drive projects to completion
- Work well with product partners and help set product vision for ambiguous projects
Nice to have
- Experience in HIPAA-compliant or similarly regulated environments like fintech or health tech
