What they ask for

Required

  • 6+ years product management experience shipping IoT or connected hardware products through mass production
  • Proven ownership of at least one hardware NPI reaching 100K+ units including EVT/DVT/PVT/MP and regulatory certification
  • Strong technical fluency in battery-powered connected systems including MCUs, SoCs, power management, battery chemistry, RF, GNSS, cellular, and BLE
  • Direct experience owning firmware roadmaps including OTA strategy, release trains, provisioning, security, and telemetry design
  • Demonstrated ownership of field reliability and troubleshooting deployed products
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority
  • Customer discovery and data-driven prioritization
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Design, or equivalent practical experience

Nice to have

  • Experience launching cellular-connected, battery-powered tracking devices with multi-year battery life
  • Background in telematics, fleet technology, construction technology, or industrial IoT
  • Experience running OTA firmware programs at scale with staged rollouts and fleet-health monitoring
  • Experience with third-party or crowd-sourced location networks like BLE mesh or LPWAN
  • Familiarity with automotive and off-highway protocols and industrial data standards like AEMP 2.0
  • Experience with global contract manufacturers and multi-region sourcing
