What this role is

This role designs and automates critical business workflows across Notion's internal teams, embedding AI agents and integrations to scale operations without adding headcount. You'll own the end-to-end redesign of processes spanning multiple tools and systems, partnering across Finance, Legal, People, and Ops to ship working automations, not just documentation.

Required

  • 2–6 years in operations design, service design, product operations, business systems, or internal tools
  • Demonstrated ability to design intake, triage, routing, approvals, escalations, and reporting workflows
  • Hands-on experience mapping and improving business processes
  • Experience designing or building with AI assistants and agents
  • Comfort building with Notion custom agents, automations, and structured skills
  • Ability to convey design intent and defend tradeoffs across tools and teams
  • Experience operating in fast-moving environments

Nice to have

  • Consulting background in process, operations, or business transformation
  • Track record delivering across multiple functions or industries
  • Experience designing internal tools or developer platforms
  • Familiarity with data concepts and operational analytics
