- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent practical experience

- SQL database experience (SQL Server, MySQL)
- Event-driven and microservice architecture, workflow engine (Temporal), or distributed systems experience
- CI/CD and automated testing experience
- Security, performance engineering, and observability in production systems understanding
- Strong product judgment and commitment to high-quality user experience
- Evidence of excellence via personal projects, open source contributions, or recognized domain expertise
- Experience providing technical direction across multiple systems or teams with recognized subject matter expert status
