What they ask for
Required
- US citizen
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 8 years mechanical design checking, detailing, or senior drafting experience
- At least 4 years aerospace or space systems experience
- Expert-level GD&T per ASME Y14.5
- Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6, Creo, or NX
- Tolerance stack-up analysis capability
- Knowledge of satellite manufacturing and assembly constraints
- Experience with PDM/PLM systems (Windchill, Teamcenter, or equivalent)
Nice to have
- ASME Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Professional (GDTP) certification at Senior or Technologist level
- Model-based definition (MBD) and PMI experience
- Familiarity with ASTM and NASA-HDBK-6012 standards
- Flight hardware configuration management experience
