What they ask for

Required

  • JD and active bar membership in at least one US state
  • 8 to 12 years of relevant legal experience including in-house time
  • Working knowledge of CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, and FTC consumer protection
  • Versatile generalist comfortable across multiple legal domains
  • Self-starter who makes independent decisions
  • Experience in fast-moving environments building rather than maintaining functions

Nice to have

  • In-house experience at consumer technology, healthtech, wearable, or DTC subscription company
  • First or early regulatory or privacy hire experience
  • Biometric or health data experience
  • Cross-border transfer or data localization experience
  • Advertising, health claims, or healthcare regulatory experience
  • AI governance and emerging AI regulation familiarity
  • CIPP/US or CIPP/E certification
