Required

  • 10+ years software engineering experience
  • 2+ years as Staff SWE or equivalent
  • Backend and systems integration expertise (APIs, GraphQL, Webhooks)
  • Experience with at least two of: Node.js, Python, Java
  • Strong AWS experience, particularly Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, SQS/SNS
  • Terraform for infrastructure as code
  • Proven expertise designing robust APIs and scalable integration architectures
  • Experience analyzing and preventing performance and scale problems
  • Application performance monitoring tools (NewRelic, BugSnag)
  • Startup experience
  • Deployment expertise and operational excellence mindset
  • Product mindset and pragmatic technical decision-making
  • Strong mentoring orientation

Nice to have

  • Salesforce integration experience including nonprofit packages (NPC, NPSP, Experience Cloud)
  • CRM product experience and understanding of how different CRMs work
  • Demonstrated use of AI development tools to accelerate delivery
  • PHP Laravel experience
