What they ask for

Required

  • 3+ years developing technical training content, work instructions, or procedural documentation
  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or regulated production environment
  • Visual and media skills including photo editing, diagramming, and instructional video capture and editing
  • Ability to translate complex technical processes into clear step-by-step content for technical audiences
  • Strong technical writing and editing with attention to accuracy and consistency
  • Proficiency with document and content tools like MS Office, Google Workspace, or PDF authoring
  • U.S. Person status as defined under ITAR (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual)

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, technical communication, engineering, or related field
  • Experience authoring content in AS9100, ISO 9001, or comparable quality-managed environment
  • Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools like Articulate or Captivate
  • Experience with learning management systems
  • Background in electronics assembly, composites, mechanical assembly, or flight hardware processes
  • Experience with structured qualification frameworks like OJT standards or CFETP-style training documents
