Required

  • 10+ years of hands-on financial audit and SOX compliance experience
  • Experience in Big 4 and in-house internal audit/SOX leadership roles
  • Proven ability to establish or scale financial audit programs at pre-IPO or newly public companies
  • Deep understanding of business process controls and financial reporting
  • Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

Nice to have

  • CPA, CIA, CISA, or similar certification
  • Experience supporting rapid company growth and scaling compliance programs
  • Experience applying AI/ML technologies to financial audit, compliance, or risk management
  • Deep understanding of ASC 606, ASC 842, or other complex accounting standards
  • Experience at high-growth AI or technology companies
  • Familiarity with financial data governance and SEC disclosure requirements
