What they ask for

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 10+ years leading modeling & simulation or systems engineering and software development
  • 5+ years with modern programming languages (C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Visual Basic)
  • 5+ years developing software models of physical systems
  • Git experience in Linux environment
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
  • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status

Nice to have

  • Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science with 14+ years experience (or Bachelor's with 18+ years or 22+ years total related experience)
  • Strong mathematical and engineering foundation in complex physical systems (rigid-body dynamics, kinematics, numerical integration)
  • Direct experience modeling satellite attitude and orbit control systems or flight software
  • Experience translating MATLAB/Simulink models into optimized C++/Rust code
  • Experience with large-scale simulation workloads on cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure)
