This role embeds cybersecurity into Torc's autonomous truck platform from design through deployment, working across product and engineering teams to define security controls, conduct threat modeling, and demonstrate compliance readiness. What they ask for

Required

  • 5+ years hands-on engineering with safety-critical cyber-physical systems in automotive, aerospace, or medical
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field plus 6+ years demonstrated technical experience
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles for embedded, automotive, and autonomous systems
  • Demonstrated hands-on working knowledge of embedded operating systems (Linux, QNX, AUTOSAR) and embedded networking
  • Ability to recognize and document software and hardware security vulnerabilities through threat modeling

Nice to have

  • Experience in autonomous vehicle industry with L4 self-driving technology
  • Experience with embedded automotive systems and embedded threat modeling
  • Experience with Classic AUTOSAR
  • Knowledge of cybersecure development lifecycles (Microsoft SDL, ISO 21434, AVCDL, or similar)
