What they ask for
Required
- Juris Doctor degree and active bar license in good standing
- At least 5 years in commercial and technology transactions with substantial in-house experience at an infrastructure company
- Experience negotiating enterprise commercial deals, compute purchasing agreements, and strategic alliance partnerships
- Working knowledge of data privacy regimes (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, EU Data Act, DORA)
- Understanding of security terms including data processing agreements and security addenda
- Knowledge of export controls and anti-bribery regulations (FCPA)
- Ability to explain legal and technical concepts clearly to non-lawyers
- Capacity to work independently in a small legal team with sound judgment about escalation and outside counsel
