- 12+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years leading engineering managers in multi-team organizations
- Track record delivering large-scale payments or fintech platforms in production
- Technical depth in distributed systems and real-time transaction processing
- Cloud-native architecture experience with AWS
- Ownership of engineering delivery against business KPIs
- Ability to partner with Product, Finance, Risk, and Compliance stakeholders
- Track record building and developing senior/staff level engineering teams
Nice to have
- Payment processing systems or card network experience
- ACH/FedNow/RTP or settlement infrastructure knowledge
- Hands-on experience with Splunk, Datadog, or PagerDuty
